Был рожден 4.07.54
Первая связь в 1969 году телеграфом с UK6HAN, причем
сразу с KW6 (тогда это
был атолл Уэйк), никто не верил, пока не пришла
карточка.
Тогда же получил и первый наблюдательский.
С 1970 года переехал в Днепропетровск - UK5EAA,
EAK, EAQ.
Наблюдательские позывные не указываю, так как до
сих пор использую их в
качестве различного рода passwords.
В 1979 был направен на Сахалин откуда работал UA0FEO,
RA0FB.
В 1993 получил UT4EA.
В Канаде с 1996 года сначала VE3ZPD, затем VE3XB.
Увлечения - большие контесты, QRQ, флимаркеты
и Хайникен.
Аппаратура самодельная: FT-920 без усилка, микрофон
динамический и
85-метровый кусочек провода с высоты 17-го этажа.

Сегодня 40 дней со смерти Юры (VE3XB).
И мне хочется в этот день сказать большое спасибо всем, кто отозвался на мою беду и поддержал меня в моём горе добрым словом, протянутой рукой, советом, действием, финансово и таким необходимым для меня транспортом. Пожалуйста, помяните его сегодня. Вспомните, каким Юра был: честным, принципиалтным, прямым, порядочным, ярким, с огромным чувством юмора и доброй улыбкой. Он был личностью.
Пусть в вашей памяти он останется именно таким.
Лёгкого ему пути!

Today is 40th day anniversary since Yury (VE3XB) has passed away.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone ,who has responded to my deepest sorrow and to everyone ,who has supported me with your kind words, actions, advice, financial help and much needed transportation during this difficult moment.
Please, remember Yury today in your prayers. He was always honest,man of principle, sincere, open and joyful man with a good sense of humor and loving smile. He had a great personality.
May Yury remains in our memories forever as that kind of person.
May he Rest In Peace.

It is really sad...we all know him for a long time personally and from the air.
I did not know that he was ill but was wondering why he was not active in the last few years.
